The Danish Gambling Authority (Spillemyndigheden) issues online casino and betting licences to any operator that meets its requirements — there's no cap on the number of licence holders, unlike Belgium's system. Licensed games (roulette, blackjack, baccarat, slots, poker) must be certified under the DGA's technical certification programme, updated most recently on 1 January 2025. Lottery remains a separate state monopoly.
